Can you get broadband in the apartments?
Yes, it is possible to get broadband in the apartments through Virgin Media.
Are pets allowed in the Square?
No, pets are not allowed in the apartments or in the gardens and common areas.
Is smoking allowed in the Square?
Residents are allowed to smoke in the confines of their apartments if they wish, however in line with new government legislation smoking is not allowed in the common areas of the Square, including the entranceways or on the carriageways.
Can anyone use the gardens?
The gardens are available for the use of all residents. However, to preserve the tranquility of the Square and for the residents’ benefit, they are not open to the public.
Are there any apartments available for short lets?
The apartments in Dolphin Square have a minimum rental period of eight months. However, Dolphin House, which is opening soon, and comprises the apartments in the North wing of the Square provides short let apartments from one night to three months. There will also be a limited number of guest rooms opening later in the year which will be available for the use of Dolphin Square residents at competitive nightly rates. So if you find yourself with an unexpected guest and no extra space for them to stay, the guest rooms are the perfect option.
Are any of the apartments available to buy?
No, none of the apartments are available for sale, all of the apartments in Dolphin Square are rental only.
Is there on site parking available?
There are both above ground and underground car parks in which residents can rent spaces. There is also an on-site car Park, which is available for residents’ use at a daily rate.
Are there bike racks in the Square?
Facilities for secure bike parking are provided in the underground car park. Perfect for taking advantage of the Square’s central London location.
Is the Square in the congestion charging zone?
The Square is lucky to fall both within and outside the zone! It is possible to access the Square from the Grosvenor road on the South side of the Square without entering the zone (the Square’s carriageways are private and therefore do not fall within the zone). However, because the roads that surround the Square to the North, East and West do fall within the zone, tenants of the Square benefit from the residents discount. So living at Dolphin Square brings you the best of both worlds!
Are there any car hire facilities at Dolphin Square?
There are a number “Streetcars” on site at Dolphin Square. Once a resident has joined the Streetcar pay as you go scheme they can use any of the cars in the national Streetcar network, including the Dolphin Square cars, which are conveniently located in their own dedicated spaces in the above ground car park. www.streetcar.co.uk
Is there on site security?
There is a security team on site who can be contacted 24 hours a day if there is a security issue. The team also provide a constant security presence, with continuous patrols of the grounds throughout the day. There is also cctv around the outside of the building, which is monitored constantly. Dolphin Square also has its own team of porters who work on a roaming basis throughout the Square, and are available to help with queries and other minor issues.
Are there recycling facilities in the Square?
There are recycling facilities in the Square for glass, paper and other recyclable goods.
How is refuse collected from the Square?
Outside each apartment is a refuse locker, for residents to deposit their rubbish in. Collections from the lockers are made every day except Saturdays.
What happens if there is a maintenance issue in my apartment?
Dolphin Square has its own on-site maintenance team who are available to deal with maintenance issues as they arise, so in the unlikely event that something does go wrong in your apartment, you can be reassured of a swift and professional response.
Is there a launderette on site?
There is an on-site launderette which is open seven days a week, and provides facilities for self-service or service washes as required.
Are there shops on site?
Yes, we have an excellent selection of shops all on site, including dry cleaners, café, green grocer, newsagent, mini market, hairdresser, pharmacist, off licence and even a travel agent.
What should I do if I know someone else who would like to rent an apartment in Dolphin Square?
If you recommend someone else who subsequently rents an apartment in Dolphin Square you will receive a case of sixbottles of champagne as a thank you.
