Bonfire & Fireworks: Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens

Where: Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, Fire Festival

When: 6.30 – 8.30pm, Friday 1st November

On Friday the 1st of November, one of London’s top firework displays will be taking place within walking distance of Dolphin Square. The highlight of Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens Fire Festival for most, is this bonfire and firework celebration. Beginning at 6:30pm, the evening reaches its climax at 8pm with a spectacular firework display, suitable for the whole family. Find out more


Back with a bang: Alexandra Palace Fireworks

Where: Alexandra Palace
How much:  Prices vary depending on when you book
When: 2 – 11pm, Saturday 2nd November

This year, Alexandra Palace will be hosting one of the best firework celebrations taking place in the capital. The event, taking place on Saturday the 2nd of November will see a magnificent firework display by Star Fireworks, who were recently crowned 2013 British Firework Champions. There will also be a family funfair, a lively street food village, a German bier festival and ice-skating sessions available. Find out more

Guy Fawkes Night Fireworks

Where: Newham
How much: FREE
When: From 5.30pm, Sunday 3rd November

For some musical fireworks, head east on Sunday the 3rd of November to Newham’s Guy Fawkes Night Fireworks. This year’s display includes a cleverly choreographed musical show including a pop soundtrack with background tracks from Florence & the Machine, Jessie J, Katie Perry and many more. Gates open at 5.30pm and the display begins at 6.30pm.

Lambeth Fireworks Display 2013

Where:  Brockwell Park
How much: FREE
When: 5 – 10pm, Tuesday 5th November

Especially great for families, this year’s Lambeth Fireworks will be at Brockwell Park. As well as a “Four Seasons” themed fireworks display taking place, there will also be four different zones for each of the four seasons. There will be food, drink and entertainment available in the different areas. Find out more

Ravenscourt Park Fireworks

Where: Ravenscourt Park
How much: Tickets £7 on the day, £5 in advance (Lyric Theatre box office). Kids under 5 free
When: Gates open 6pm, Saturday 2nd November

If you’re looking for a west London bonfire night, then there are a couple of good ones to choose from, however we think Ravenscourt Fireworks are worth checking out. Gates open at 6pm, there’s a children’s firework display at 7.15pm and the main display starts at 8pm.
