Festival season is just around the corner and Londoners are lucky enough to have a wide range of festivals at their fingertips. From rock legends and RnB superstars to rappers and drum and bass DJs there is something for every pair of ears. Here, we have rounded up some of our favourites:

Field Day

A weekend of the best alternative acts from quirky-pop to indie rock, dance and folk acts. This year’s line up includes Pixies, Metronomy, Jamie XX, The Horrors, Neneh Cherry, Jagwar Ma, Jon Hopkins, Todd Terje, Blood Orange, SBTRKT plus many more.

Camden Crawl

The Camden Crawl is back in North London after a brief relocation to Dublin last year. Buy a wristband and your privy to all the talent you can handle in the 25 stages housed in venues around Camden. Curated by alt-pop label Moshi Moshi, folk faves the Nest Collective, Resonance FM, hip hop night Supa Dupa Fly and online music publications The 405, Drowned in Sound, The Line of Best Fit and Crack Magazine, the talent is sure to be tip top. This year’s line up includes Of Montreal, ABC, The Field, Yuck, Atari Teenage Riot, Mouse On Mars, Steve Mason, Alexis Taylor, Au Revoir Simone, Dirty Beaches plus many more.

Hampton Court Palace Festival

For a classy affair with more bow ties and picnics than wellington boots and glitter face paints the courtyard of the renowned Tudor pile Hampton Court is the place to be. Jools Holland, Van Morrison, Dionne Warwick and Jamie Cullum perform beneath magnificent firework displays.

South West Four

A whole weekend of club favourites, dance heroes, house, electro and trance acts.
