With everyone settling into the new school term, we wanted to get in on the action and use this as an excuse to kick-start ourselves too. A good excuse for a fresh start and an opportunity to instil new working habits and September is the month for change.  We wanted to give you a few ideas of new places to get your head down and keep out of trouble in and around the Pimlico area!

Central London Libraries

Reading bookGet yourself into an ultra productive mode and settle into a comfy chair, but make sure you phone is on silent! The surrounding Pimlico and South London neighbourhood has a host of libraries, with Westminster Music Library only being a stone’s throw away too. Pimlico Library is at Lupus St, Pimlico, London SW1V 3AT if you’re not looking to wander far.  There is free wifi available if you want to whip out your laptop and get some online research carried out, or get some work done in a relaxing environment.  If you’re looking to take pre-school little ones along with you, Pimlico Library has Wiggle and Jiggle (Music and Movement classes for toddlers).  If you are simply looking for a quiet study area, Pimlico Library has 40 spaces in the quiet room and 22 spaces in the main library, but availability can differ at busy times. There is also wheelchair access at Pimlico Library for those with accessibility needs of this nature.  Westminster Music Library (inside Victoria Library), at 160 Buckingham Palace Rd, London SW1W 9UD is one of the largest public music libraries in the UK.  The Music library was founded way back in 1946 and hosts a song index with

Go on and treat yourself and settle down while sipping a fresh organic coffee whilst you tick off your to-do-list at the same time.  With a coffee shop nestled on every corner in Pimlico, you are definitely spoiled for choice.  Pimlico Fresh offers a range of nutritious breakfast and brunches, as well as a freshly squeezed orange juice to maintain your energy levels during a productive morning.  Coffee shops, breakfast and brunch eateries are not in short supply in the local Pimlico area, and if you decid you’d like to go for a full-on lunch date take your pick from the host of Pimlico restaurants.

Take a class, enlist the help of a personal trainer or relax with one of the unusual hammam or tadelakt treatments offered.
